How to Play

How to play Jump for Animals is simpler than the Index looks. The Roblox experience is a simulator/tycoon: you do not fight, you barely sprint, and you win by turning motion into JumpPower and JumpPower into slotted animals. This page is the rules of the table. The getting started walkthrough is the first-hour clock.

The loop, in one screen

  1. Walk and jump. Every step and every jump grants EXP. EXP levels you. Levels raise JumpPower.
  2. Jump into an animal spawn. Carry it home. Place it on a base slot. Held pets do not pay.
  3. Spend cash on the cheapest treadmill that beats walking, then on extra slots once every pad is full.
  4. Open the Index. Fill Basic through Epic from the world. Save Premium Lucky Blocks for Legendary through Beyond.
  5. When upgrades stall, rebirth. The official text is a level reset for a doubled multiplier that lasts forever.

If you skip step 2, you are playing a parkour toy. If you skip step 5, you are paying inflated prices with a ×1 pipeline.

Movement and pickups

Controls are ordinary Roblox: WASD or thumbstick to walk, Space or the on-screen jump button to leap. You pick up by walking or jumping into the hitbox, not by punching. Camera-down slightly before a grab so you see the model. If the pickup fails, you were already holding something — slot first.

JumpPower is the height gate, not a skill check. The full EXP rules sit on JumpPower and EXP. Missing a platform costs time, not the Index. You do not lose JumpPower when you fall.

Servers hold five players. Join a friend for the official ×2 cash bonus. That bonus is part of how you play, not a social extra. See offline earnings for AFK and friends in one place.

What you are allowed to ignore on day one

  • Robux Lucky Block bundles. World spawns fill the first rows of the tier list.
  • The rebirth button the moment it lights. Full slots first.
  • Random codes from other +1 jump titles. Only the codes hub is this place.
  • Cosmetics. Colour pads do not print cash.

How a good session feels

You load in, slot anything in your hands, stand on a belt for a few minutes, then hunt the next height band. You come back with one or two new Index ticks, park the mutated one in front, and quit with the plot full so offline earnings run overnight. That is the whole sport.

A bad session is chasing Beyond with empty tiles, buying a ×1000 belt you will lose on an unread rebirth modal, or standing still in the lobby waiting for a code that does not exist.

Mobile vs PC

The loop does not change. On a phone the jump button can overlap Shop. If you keep opening the cash menu instead of leaping, move your thumb. Shift lock on PC helps on thin towers and does nothing for EXP.

R15 avatars are forced. Your catalog items morph. JumpPower does not care what hat you wear.

When you are “done” learning to play

You know how to play when you can answer four questions without this page:

  • Where does cash come from? Slotted animals, not the backpack.
  • When do I buy a treadmill? When it beats walking and does not delay a smart rebirth.
  • When do I roll Lucky Blocks? After JumpPower can use the pet and a slot is free.
  • When do I rebirth? When the planner says the double beats the grind.

Everything else on the wiki is a zoom-in on one of those four answers.
